This day trip will bring you to north-eastern part of Estonia to see some of the nicest manors in Estonia – Palmse and Sagadi, and a captain’s village with Maritime Museum.
First, in around one-hour drive from Tallinn we will stop at Palmse manor to discover the life and atmosphere of Baltic-German noblemen in Estonia (local guided tours available). You will see the rooms and lifestyle, but also the architecture and culture in this well-renovated manor. Romantic walk by the pond and park, exhibition of local spirits and apple garden show it all well. You will also see one neighboring manor Sagadi before our drive to Käsmu fishermen’s village and enjoy a museum tour in local Maritime Museum where all presented on the exhibition has something to do with sailing and sailors. Witness and feel the history here – all in the museum is real. Walk on the beach, touch the sea and enjoy quiet atmosphere and fresh air. Another interesting thing to see in this region is beaver’s trail and this is something we will visit as well to have a very close look the amazing work that beavers have created. On our way back, we will go to visit one of the biggest waterfalls in Estonia – Jägala waterfall.
